Why does VBG not allow me to drill an extra hole in the new endplate kits, it won’t affect the strength will it?
This is not something that VBG has made up, it’s a requirement set for all EU approved products. No modifications are allowed on an existing, certified and registered product. Every modification, however small it is, requires a new certification and registration.And there is also a considerable risk that it would affect the strength, because the actual design has a lot of development work behind it.
